Yummo. Great stop on sunny morning bike ride for coffee. Highly recommend the mandarin cake. Zingy and summer like.

If you haven’t then you should visit Le Maquis Cafe tucked away in a quiet part of the Wadestown area. Bus stop is handy. The owner, Bruce will entertain you in a range of topics. The interior is reminiscent of older style European cafes where one meets to read, relax and indulge in conversation. There is a piano in the house and everyone is welcome to play. Small concerts take place along with other events that focus in the owner, Bruce’s interest. Coffee is as good as the city and food available. A pleasant relaxing atmosphere.

A small spot that makes Wadestown proud, right next to the only attraction in Wadestown (letterbox village), so a perfect day out for all ages.

Great vibe, enjoyed my gluten free, dairy free walnut loaf slice and wonderful host & Barista Becky. Thank you. I will try and be there when those piano maestros delight us with live sessions from the piano in the cafe, what a great idea to have piano and music sheets available

WOW.....I love my moca, but Cafe" Le Maquis Epicerie Du Coin" really delivers when it comes to creating spectacular coffee....and to top it off chocolate biscuit with vanilla icing topping & walnut ontop an easy 5 star.

Great Cafe spot, chill and eazygoing atmosphere. And the food super tasty, there was good food even for me that I am vegan. And more options for those with no dietary requirements. Great price, location and design in general, with healthy quality food.
